Our minimum order for custom challenge coins is generally 100 coins, however often  manufacture lesser quantities, usually 50 coins to make economy of scale work. We've often done far fewer coins for special occasions where price is no object - as low as 3 coins for one client. 

However, like any mass-production process, once the presses and polishing systems are setup - economies of scale means it's cheaper to run hundreds of units (per unit) than a few.

The sizes listed on our website show the most common sizes we make for custom challenge coins, with 45mm diameter and 3mm thickness by far the most popular - especially for ADF units and police orders. We can always custom manufacture any size you need, as long as the design is scalable, and the design and text are legible. 

Most of our custom challenge coins are die struck or pressure cast from various metals and alloys. The base metal in your coin depends on the type you order. Generally if it's a 2D design, it will lend itself to die-stamping or striking in iron or brass. If 3D is utilised in the design on one or both sides, or the design is particularly detailed or fine, then they're usually pressure cast from alloys, predominantly zinc-based. 

Absolutely! Discounts are available to serving personnel in both military and law enforcement roles. Make both the enquiry - and the order - with your DRN or police email address, and the armed services discount will be confirmed in the quote.

Items that are custom-designed and manufactured from scratch, like challenge coins take from 15-21 working days from the date of final art approval.

With looming major commemorative events like Anzac Day, Viet Nam Veterans Day, Remembrance Day and Christmas, shipping delays will inevitably occur.

When you’re asking for special shipping, like overnight, or courier tracked delivery, please keep in mind these are methods of shipping only and do not include weekend delivery.

All orders are shipped courier express and will generally require 3-5 working days for delivery within Australia.

We keep all coin dies and/or moulds ready to be used again for new orders for two (2) years. During that time, as long as your design doesn't change, there are no charges for dies/moulds other than a small setup charge for a new production run.

They're kept in your secure client lounge and you can access them to view or print, any time. The URL for them is specific to your account only. They're always in .PDF files so they can be used on any device.
